Red Dwarf is a radio show, a collection of books and a hit English television show developed by Rob Grant and Doug Naylor. Copyright grant naylor productions all rights reserved.
Red Dwarf is also a mining space ship that is 6 miles long and 3 miles wide. Three million years ago, the original crew was reduced to four beings by a radiation leak. The four are an android cleaning machine, a hologram, a humanoid creature evolved from cats and the last human alive.
Dave Lister, vending machine repairman, steps out of stasis after 3 million years. Lister has been kept safe from the radiation by the computer, Holly. "Everyone is dead Dave" repeats Holly.
Lister wakes up one morning in the company of the hologram, Arnold Rimmer, the most neurotic twit ever to be obsessed with the Napoleonic era. Holly chose to resurrect Rimmer in order to keep Lister sane, but Lister disagrees. After spending a few weeks actively loathing each other, Holly informs them of another life form aboard Red Dwarf. Heading down to the cargo deck with charged bazookoids, Lister and Rimmer find a humanoid evolved from cats. “The Cat” as he is named, joins the crew and they are off on adventures. Soon after, they meet Kryton, a cleaning mechanoid found on crashed star ship on an intergalactic advert campaign for coke.
The four crew members of the Red Dwarf battle a polymorph, tour the inside of a black hole, travel faster than the speed of light and much more! Their adventures also take them to the limits of space, time, and patience. All their adventures are spread out on 3 books and over 9 DVDs, the only way to see all the action, adventure, comedy, and overall incompetence is to watch, read, laugh, and repeat!
